CONFLICT OF INTEREST REGISTER:
We trust that Mentors will manage any conflicts of interest by ensuring that they treat all teams the same, that they are available to all teams, or that they avoid mentoring teams where they feel there is a risk due to conflict. We will have a conflict of interest register available in the Mentor Room all weekend to disclose if you have any issues.
MENTOR ISSUE LOG:
We will have a mentoring issue log sheet in the Long Room for you to record any issues or concerns you have regarding teams and competition rules.
MENTOR APPROACH: Mentors are not scheduled with specific teams. This year we have a diverse range of teams with varied skills and their business is at varied stages. As a mentor, your job is to listen and advise teams on their journey to developing an innovative model, supporting them in validation and asking questions that help them clarify their offer. From your vast industry knowledge, let them know about competing business models and challenge their thinking.
SPEAKER MENTORING: After the opening ceremony on Friday, the guest speakers will have scheduled time with each team.
FEEDBACK ON DELIVERABLES: Teams submit draft deliverables on Saturday night at 10.30pm. Teams are very keen to receive feedback on these Sunday morning. We usually select two mentors who has the job of ensuring feedback is given to all 20 teams.
